Summary: Foxdoku respects your privacy. The game stores your puzzle progress locally on your device. We use industry-standard services (Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics) to serve ads, analyze performance, and improve app stability. We do not sell your personal data.

When you use Foxdoku, we may process limited categories of data as outlined below:
- Local Gameplay Data: Your level progress, completion stars, move history, game settings (such as sound, high contrast, and haptic preferences), and local stats are stored strictly on your device using local storage.
- Device Identifiers & Diagnostics: Technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, battery status, and crash traces processed via Firebase Crashlytics.
- Advertising Identifiers: Your device's IDFA (iOS) or AAID (Android) processed by Google Mobile Ads to deliver advertisements and comply with user consent frameworks.
2. Third-Party Services & Ad Monetization
Foxdoku integrates third-party SDKs to provide advertisements and maintain app quality:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent settings. Review Google Privacy & Terms.
- User Messaging Platform (UMP SDK): Obtains and manages explicit consent preferences from users in the EEA, UK, and relevant jurisdictions in compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy guidelines.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Collects anonymous usage metrics (such as session length and level completion rates) and crash telemetry to resolve software defects. Review Firebase Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We process collected telemetry and advertising signals for the following explicit purposes:
- To provide full puzzle gameplay functionality and save game state.
- To serve relevant advertisements that enable free access to Foxdoku.
- To diagnose crashes, resolve bugs, and optimize battery and rendering performance.
- To enforce compliance with legal obligations and ad network guidelines.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Foxdoku is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove such data.
5. Your Privacy Choices & Control
You have full control over your privacy preferences:
- Ad Consent Management: You can reset or update your personalized ad consent anytime inside the app by navigating to Settings → Privacy & Ad Consent.
- Device Ad Tracking: You may disable personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID via your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking on iOS or Settings > Google > Ads on Android).
- Data Deletion: You can wipe all local progress and settings instantly using the "Reset All Local Data" button inside Foxdoku's Settings screen. To request deletion of any analytics or crash data associated with your device that we retain via Firebase, email support@auriferous.in with your device model and the approximate date you used the app — we do not require an account, so this is the channel for any server-side deletion requests.
6. Data Security & Storage
Your local game state is protected by standard OS application sandbox policies. Telemetry data sent to Firebase and AdMob is transmitted via secure encrypted channels (HTTPS / TLS).
